Austen @ 6 Years

Austen Lee, you are 6 years old!

 

 



Just a few days old, you were such a laid back baby.

Our baby boy turning 1, you loved your cake and still have a thing for sweets!

At 2, we celebrated on the back porch and you shared a party with Aiden.

At 3, we took you out to Dorey's (your choice).

Four years old and another hot July party on the back porch.

For your 5th party we went to the community center. You requested a tractor cake and were very disappointed when it showed up and didn't have a trailer with it! You also requested strawberries, watermelon, and apple pie. You love to eat fruit!

 

We can't believe you are six years old! It seems like just yesterday we were waiting to meet you! You bring so much joy to our lives. You keep us smiling with your funny expressions and your sense of humor. You love to ride bikes with your brother although you are not a fan of the heat and sneak inside sometimes when Aiden is not looking. ;-) Your favorite inside toys to play with are cars or animals. You will be starting first grade this year. You actually enjoy school and do not give up easily. If something is difficult, you keep a positive attitude and keep on going (just like your Daddy)! Your brother is your best friend and you always think of him first. You are a busy boy! It is very hard to take your picture because you are always on the move. You are mechanically minded like Daddy and want to know how everything works. You amaze me with your ability to fix things and problem solving skills. You love your baby sisters and are their protector. You recently told me you were so glad we have Arynn. You still love to cuddle and even though we don't hear it as often, we still get requests to sit in the recliner and rock you. We love you baby boy! Happy Birthday!

Arynn @ 4 Months

Arynn Lizabeth, you are 4 months old!!!

You weigh 15 pounds and 13 ounces! My you have grown and I think it is all in your thighs! You are wearing mainly 3-6 month clothes, size 2 diapers and are starting to wear a size 2 shoe.

 

You have had your first cold, it started with Momma and it was pretty rough...

But brother helped take care of us!

Momma left you for the first time with Daddy to go buy groceries for about an hour and a half and you slept the whole time.

You are rolling from your back to your belly and you love floor time with Addy Kay.

For the past few weeks, you have enjoyed sitting in your bumbo looking out the front door while everyone else eats breakfast. The other day we found that you had learned to "jump out" of your bumbo. Just one of your cool new tricks.

You are starting to get up on all 4's and are trying hard to scoot. Your hair is starting to thin out and what is left has a reddish tint.

You helped Momma and Daddy celebrate their anniversary.

You are reaching for toys and have already picked out a few favorites. You seem to be more fair skinned than Addy, your light skin reminds me of Ava.

You have made your first trip to the lake and were so well behaved. You enjoyed the water too!

It was just too much excitement for you and you needed your beauty sleep.

 

 

 You are almost always smiling but every so often I get to see this serious face.

I can't believe how fast time is flying. Please don't grow up too fast, we love you precious girl!

Aiden @ 9 Years

Aiden Thomas, you are 9 years old!

You are so special to your family! We can't believe how fast you are growing up. It seems like it was just yesterday we were taking these pictures.

Celebrating your 1st birthday with LOTS of family and friends. Over 50 people came to your party!

Your 2nd party was all about Elmo, your favorite show at the time.

Your 3rd birthday, just 10 short days before you became a big brother.

Your 4th birthday was a pool party.

Your 5th birthday you shared the spotlight with your brother and you both enjoyed a train themed party.

 

Your 6th birthday was at Larry's Pizza.

 

 

Your 7th birthday was spent at home with your family. 

 

 

Your 8th birthday was with family at Dorey's (which is now closed) and you got a guitar.

 

You continue to practice your guitar and look forward to playing specials at church. You played "Silent Night" and Momma sang with you at Christmas. At Easter, it was 5th Sunday services and you played "Jesus Loves Me" while you and your siblings sang along. You plan on playing again with Momma the next 5th Sunday too.

You are my right hand man. I honestly don't know how I would make it without you. You walk with your baby sister when she is fussy and you have a great deal of patience with all of your siblings. You take good care of your dogs and are very compassionate when it comes to animals. You might have your Poppa's tender heart. You enjoy reading and listening to audio books. You tell us you want to be a farmer when you grow up. You are a hard worker. You help your Daddy with yard work and love spending time with him. Recently you and your brother took a float trip with Daddy and Uncle Beef to the Buffalo River. I am still hearing stories about your overnight excursion!

 

You also enjoy drawing and drew this picture for your Uncle Beef of your trip to the Buffalo.

 

We feel so blessed to be your parents and watch you grow into a young man. Our prayer is that you will continue serving the Lord and seek His will for your life. We love you Aiden Tommy and are so proud of the man you are becoming!!!

Arynn @ 3 Months

Arynn Lizabeth, you are 3 months old!

You are very smiley these days! 

 

I don't have an official weight for 3 months, but I know you are over 12 pounds.

 You can't get enough of these two boys, they seem to be your favorite source of entertainment.

 

 The reason Momma knows you are somewhere over 12 pounds is because they weighed you on your first trip to the ER at 2.5 months. We had a small incident involving your oldest sister, you and the bed. Thankfully, everyone turned out just fine!

You are getting stronger, and spending lots more time on your tummy, you will be taking off too soon!

You are rolling from your belly to your back a lot and are very content to play in the floor for extended periods.

I love to watch you hold your hands, when I nurse you, you get this same grip on Momma's shirt.

 

Your hair is starting to have a reddish tint, I guess this comes from Poppa Kenneth and Nanny Lee. Nanny had red hair as a child and Poppa has red in his beard. I would love a red headed baby!!!

 

 

 So Sweet!

 

Since the incident, you have officially been evicted from Momma & Daddy's bed and now sleep in the pack and play- ALL NIGHT!!! It makes me smile too!!!

You survived a whole week without Daddy (just barely) and helped him celebrate his birthday when he came home from Denver. You also helped Ava celebrate her birthday.

You are starting to suck your thumb but I'm not too worried about it becoming a habit. All of your siblings did for a short time. You are still wearing 0-3 month, size 2 diapers and you can almost fit into a size 2 shoe. You are growing up too fast baby girl. We love you!




 

Arynn @ 2 Months

Arynn Lizabeth, you are 2 months old!

 

You weigh 11 pounds 13.5 ounces. You are 24 inches long.

You are sleeping very well at night. Your wake up around 8:00 in the morning, eat and sleep until 9:30 or 10:00. You eat on demand during the day, usually every 1.5 to 2.5 hours. You take naps whenever your siblings let you have a break. ; ) You nap after dinner and then stay awake from 8:30 until 10ish and sleep until you "dream feed" around the time Daddy leaves for work. I feel so blessed to have a baby that sleeps well!

You are wearing some 3-6 month clothes but mostly 0-3 month. You are close to outgrowing size 1 shoes, but 2's are still a bit big. You are wearing a size 2 diaper.

 

Your face is much better, until someone else holds you. So sensitive, I guess perfumes and detergent are going to be a no-no around you.

 

You are very smiley! Laughing out loud and talking to us is your favorite pasttime. You have rolled from your belly to your back a couple of times.

Ava @ 4 Years!

Ava Marie, you are 4 years old!



You are Momma's big helper! We call you little momma and you tell me you want to be just like me!

You want to grow up too fast. You might be disappointed when you wake up today and realize you can't drive. You have been telling us that when you turn 4 you can drive a car, cook dinner and be a momma!



 



Home from the hospital

You are very loving, you like to hold Daddy's hand at the dinner table (he now eats with his left hand!) We also call you "the whobody". This started when you were two, instead of saying somebody, you used the word whobody, the name stuck.



One year

You are very intelligent, you are insisting on starting school this year, so I ordered you some Kindergarten worksheets. You also enjoy working puzzles and copying letters and know most of your letter sounds.

 

Two years

You are playful! You like to ride your bike. You play house with Addy, you both call each other "momma" when playing. You take turns pushing each other in the stroller.



Three years

You love your boys and tend to "mother" them, Aus takes it pretty well, but you and Aiden tend to butt heads.

 

Playing at the park

You are very caring and love all babies, especially your baby sister. The first words out of your mouth every morning are, "When can I hold Arynn?" You also love your baby dolls, Tommy and Maddie are a few of your favorites. You spend a lot of time playing with your family set.

 

You always have a smile for the camera!

You might be considered high maintenance. ;-) When we asked you what you wanted for your birthday, the list was endless... a ring like momma's, dinosaurs, a real phone, and a real car were just a few of the answers.

You are your Daddy's girl. When you found out that Daddy was going out of town for a week you cried your eyes out and wouldn't let him out of your sight for the rest of the night. It broke your Daddy's heart but he assured you that it wouldn't be for long.

It is so fun watching you grow up every day with the new things that you learn and say.  We know that God is going to do wonderful things with your life and we feel so blessed to have you.  You are growing up too fast but by the grace of God we are going to raise you for His service.  We love you so much!

 

 

 



 



 



 

 

 

 

 

Arynn @ 6 Weeks

Arynn Lizabeth, you are 6 weeks old!

You weigh 10 pounds 11 ounces. You are in 3 month clothes and size 1 shoe. You are wearing a size 1 diaper. You have been traveling! Memphis, Hot Springs, Little Rock, NWA, and Hope just to name a few places. You sleep very well in your car seat. In fact you sleep well at night too! You are such an easy baby.

 You are smiling a lot these days. You always have a sweet smile for your sisters and brothers. You are awake from 9:00 until 11:00 at night before you nurse one last time. Then you sleep until 5:00, you nurse again and sleep til around 9:00 am. You are getting to the stage where you think you have to nurse to go to sleep. During your awake period before bed, you talk and smile. Everyone else is already asleep so it is yours and momma's one on one time. I look forward to our visits together every night. When you wake in the mornings, your brothers and sisters climb in the bed with you and love seeing that same sweet smile.

 Your face is still broke out and I'm not sure how to fix it. Maybe time will make it better. You went with Momma to her 6 week postpartum visit and Dr. S thought you were adorable. I had to get a picture of you with the Dr. who delieverd you. I love the expression on your face. He said you needed to go on a diet!

You are such a joy and we can't imagine life without you! Time is going by too fast! We love you sweet baby girl!
