Addy Kay, you are one week old!

You have had a very eventful first week! A trip to the NICU, and discharge on Saturday, when you were three days old. We made it to church on Sunday morning, to everyone's surprise! You were very well behaved, not one peep. On Monday, you had your first check-up and the Dr. said you looked great. A little yellow, but he was not concerned. You lost down to 9# 3oz in the hospital, but at your appointment, you were back up to 9# 9oz. You are eating very well; during the day you nurse every 1.5-2.5 hours and you are already trying to sleep four hour stretches at night. Mom is having to wake you up because I can't make it that long! Your brothers and sister love you so much, they always want to hold you. Ava says you are "heavy", I guess so, you weigh half as much as she does! Your sister's newborn clothes are already too small. 0-3 months fit you much better, although your feet are too big for the footed sleepers. You are still in the disposable diapers from the hospital, not sure how much longer they will fit either. We are so blessed to have you in our family and love you so much. We can't wait to watch you grow, but please take your time, it is already going by too fast!
